Project chief Dhruv Kumar Jha informed that vehicles have started operating after completing the construction of the structure and access roads of all three bridges. According to him, Himdung & Thokar Immortal Construction had signed a contract agreement for Rs 216 million six years ago for the construction of a 120-meter-long motorable bridge in Marfa Khola and a 90-meter-long motorable bridge in Narsing Khola in Chhusang.

Kashthamandap Nirman Sewa had won the contract for Rs 101.8 million on Asad 29, 2075 BS for the construction of an 80-meter-long motorable bridge in Charang Khola. After the concrete bridge was put into operation, the problem of having to cross the rough and temporary bridges with wooden beams and the risk of vehicles crossing the river has been eliminated, said Lomsang Chomphel Bista (Raju), chairman of Loghekar-Damodarkunda Rural Municipality.

Out of 24 motorable bridges to be constructed along the 202-kilometer Beni-Jomsom Korala road connecting the Chinese border at Mustang from Maldhunga in the mountains via Myagdi, 19 have been contracted, 12 have been completed, two are under construction, five have been terminated and five bridges are in the process of construction. The project, which began in 2073/074 BS, has made 84 percent physical progress so far.
