Baglung. The 131.1249364-meter motorable bridge over the Kaligandaki River has been operational since this week. With the commissioning of the bridge, it has become easier for the general public to reach major cities including the provincial capital Pokhara from South Baglung.
The bridge connects Jaimini Municipality-1 and Phalebas Municipality-6 of Parbat. Krishna Bahadur Thapa of Jaimini Municipality-5 said that it has become much easier to transport goods and travel after the construction of the bridge on the Kaligandaki. He said that the distance to reach Pokhara has now been reduced by 30 kilometers when traveling via the bridge.
