Commercial banks earned around Rs 48 billion in 10 months.

Kathmandu. In the 10 months of the current fiscal year, 20 commercial banks have earned a profit of More than Rs 47 billion. According to the data released by the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on Thursday, commercial banks earned a profit of Rs 47.79 billion till mid-April.

According to the data released by the Rastra Bank, the three banks have been able to earn a profit of more than Rs 5 billion in 10 months. Nabil Bank, Global IME Bank and Nepal Investment Mega Bank (NIMB) have been included in the top 10 with a profit of more than Rs 5 billion.

Nabil Bank has been ranked number one in the list of highest profits in 10 months. The bank has earned a profit of Rs 5.60 billion.

Similarly, Global IME Bank is the second most profitable bank with a profit of Rs 5.35 billion in 10 months, while Nepal Investment Mega Bank (NIMB) has secured the third position with a profit of Rs 5.02 billion.

Similarly, Everest Bank earned a profit of Rs 3.90 billion, Nepal Bank Rs 3.28 billion, NMB Bank Rs 2.62 billion and Prime Commercial Bank Rs 2.58 billion during the review period.

Standard Chartered Bank has a profit of Rs 2.34 billion, Laxmi Sunrise Bank Rs 2.15 billion, Siddhartha Bank Rs 2.11 billion and Prabhu Bank Rs 2.14 billion.

Similarly, Rastriya Banijya Bank earned a profit of Rs 1.77 billion, Himalayan Bank Rs 683.4 million and Nepal SBI Bank Rs 1.38 billion.

In the last 10 months, NIC Asia Bank earned a profit of Rs 478.7 million, Machhapuchchhre Bank Rs 1.31 billion, Kumari Bank Rs 481.9 million, Krishi Bikas Bank Rs 1.73 billion, Citizens Bank Rs 1.18 billion and Sanima Bank Rs 1.87 billion.
