Kathmandu. Police have sent Resham Chaudhary, the patron of the Civil Liberation Party, who was arrested at a party unity declaration meeting, to Dillibazaar Jail. He was taken into custody by a police team from the District Police Range, Kathmandu, a few moments ago after he arrived at a unity declaration meeting between the Civil Liberation Party and the Janamat Party.
Apilraj Bohara, Superintendent of Police, Kathmandu Range, informed RSS that he was arrested and sent to Dillibazaar Jail in accordance with the order regarding the implementation of the Supreme Court’s decision. The Supreme Court had sentenced Patron Chaudhary to life imprisonment for being the main planner of the Tikapur incident in Kailali.
Chowdhary, who had been in prison for a long time in the same case, was released on the occasion of Republic Day after being pardoned.
