Kathmandu. Citizens Bank International Limited has extended support to Drishti Foundation Nepal based in Dhangadhi, Far-Western Province as part of its corporate social responsibility.
The bank has provided relief and consumables to the organization, which is being run with the help of various donors and supporting about 65 women and their children, for about two months.
Chief Executive Officer of the bank Ganesh Raj Pokharel handed over the materials to the women and their children. Addressing the function, CHIEF Executive Officer Pokharel said that he was very happy to support the organization even though he was very young.
Wishing for the continued progress of the institutions and the children living there, he said that such organizations are setting an example in the society to take care of women suffering from mental health problems and families and their children.
The bank, which has been conducting various programs to bring positive changes in social, economic, cultural, educational, etc. under the Corporate Social Responsibility Program, plans to do such programs in the coming days as well.
