Kathmandu. Citizens Bank International Limited, under its Corporate Social Responsibility program, has provided daily necessities and sanitary pads to Raksha Nepal, an organization that has been doing commendable work for the protection of sexually exploited girls and women, especially children at risk of trafficking and sexual violence.
Raksha Nepal, an organization that has been engaged in the protection and rehabilitation of women, adolescents and children who have been subjected to various forms of violence for two decades, is trying to make them self-reliant through skills, education, counseling, legal support, self-defense and self-awareness.
The bank handed over the materials to Raksha Nepal during a ceremony. Expressing gratitude for the bank’s support, they said that they have been encouraged to continue working for the rights of women and children in the coming days.
The bank is confident that supporting an organization that has been doing remarkable humanitarian work in the society will make the organization’s operations easier.
In the coming days, the bank has informed that it plans to conduct various programs under the Corporate Social Responsibility program to bring about positive changes in the social, economic, cultural, educational, etc. sectors.
