Kathmandu. Citizens Bank has completed tree plantation in Lumbini Province and Karnali Province on the occasion of World Environment Day.
Citizen’s Bank, as part of its corporate social responsibility, organized a massive tree plantation programme at Tilottama Municipality in Lumbini Province and Bhairam Community Forest, Birendranagar in Karnali State on Wednesday, June 19, 2082, with the theme of ‘Bit the Plastic’.
On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, a massive tree plantation programme has been organized by planting around 105 different species of saplings in Lumbini Province and more than 100 saplings in Karnali Province. As part of its corporate social responsibility, the bank has already conducted health camps, community schools and monasteries in different parts of the country.
Recently, the bank, which won the title of ‘Bank of the Year 2024’, the world’s most prestigious award, has recently launched ‘Citizens PhonePe Credit Card’ (Virtual Credit Card) for the first time in Nepal in collaboration with PhonePe. ।
