Kathmandu. Citizens Bank International Limited has introduced the facility to take loans online against fixed deposit collateral with the aim of making its customer service more convenient, simple and modern.
While providing simplified services to customers, they will be able to easily obtain loans for sudden emergencies based on their fixed deposits using the mobile app. Under this scheme, the bank has stated that they can take loans up to 90 percent of their fixed deposits or up to Rs. 200,000 (minimum Rs. 5,000) from the bank.
The amount will be deposited in the applicant’s savings account immediately. According to the bank, no physical documents will be required for this.
This service has been added as Citizens Bank continuously introduces new digital services to make service delivery more efficient by saving its customers’ time, labor and resources through the use of digital technology.
