Kathmandu. Citizens Bank International Limited and Management Association of Nepal (MAN) have agreed to establish the ‘MAN-Citizens Aspiring Manager Award’ with the aim of honoring and encouraging students who achieve excellence in MBA under the Faculty of Management in Nepal.
The MoU was signed by Chief Executive Officer Ganesh Raj Pokharel and President of MAN Mohan Raj Ojha on behalf of the bank. This award will be presented every year to talented students who have demonstrated excellence in MBA under Purbanchal University.
The amount of the award will be Rs. 51,000. Citizens Bank International Limited will be the sponsor of this award and the bank has stated that it will provide the required amount for the award annually.
A committee of officials from Citizens Bank, Purbanchal University and the Management Association of Nepal will be formed to select the best student and the award will be presented every year in the month of Magh on the occasion of the Management Convention of the Bank.
The bank is confident that this work of the bank will contribute to the management education sector in Nepal.
