Child dies in leopard attack

Bajura. A child has died in a leopard attack in Bajura. 8-year-old Vijay Rawat of Khaptad Chhededah Rural Municipality-3, Dhurtola, died in a leopard attack on Sunday evening.

According to Police Inspector Deb Bahadur Chaudhary of the District Police Office, Rawat was attacked by a leopard while he was playing in the courtyard near his house. He died on the spot, he said.

The body of the deceased has been brought to the District Hospital Bajura for an autopsy, the police said.
