Tanahun. Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed his commitment to help improve the quality of community schools.
In a brief meeting with the principal, teachers, students and advocates of Panchamunidev Secondary School in Shuklagandaki Municipality this morning, he expressed his commitment to provide all possible support from himself and the party for the physical development of schools in rural areas as well as academic advancement.
Says that the number of students in private schools should not be more and in community schools less, he said that community schools are capable of competing with private schools if they are given resources. He said, “Community schools can also provide quality education.” Chairman Dahal emphasized that the school should be made a model school.
