Kathmandu. Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has taken over the guardianship of two children from the orphan and martyr family of Bhajani, Kailali.
At an educational program organized at Karmeshwor Secondary School in Bhajani Municipality-5 today, he announced that he would take over the guardianship of Nindu Raji, a student in grade 3 from the minority Raji community, and Anisha Tharuni, a student in grade 10 from the martyr family, according to Chairman Dahal’s personal secretariat.
He expressed his commitment that the party and himself will shoulder the entire responsibility for the education and future development of these children.
Chairman Dahal Stating that the party has always been committed to ensuring education for children without parents and from martyred families, he said that the issues raised by the Maoists for social justice and equality are still relevant.
School teachers, students, parents, and local party leaders and cadres were present on the occasion.
