Chitwan. Chitwan National Park has urged people to exercise caution while using the road passing through Kasara in the evening. Since wild elephants have been seen in the area for the past few days, the park has requested that people travel only in groups after 5 pm.
According to Avinash Thapa Magar, information officer of the park, those traveling on two-wheeled vehicles are being sent only in groups after dusk. He said, “We have requested those using the road passing through Kasara not to travel alone after 5:30 pm.”
He informed that people are requested to travel in groups or only behind large vehicles. The park has requested people to be cautious as the elephants are located in the Dhruv Elephant Park headquarters area and Kasara Road area.
500 two-wheelers and 200 four-wheelers ply between Bharatpur and Madi daily. Most two-wheelers ply in the evening. Information Officer Thapa Magar said that people have been requested to be cautious while traveling as elephants can attack along the road.
