Kathmandu. The cabinet meeting has begun. The meeting began at 6:00 pm at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.
The cabinet meeting on Tuesday is preparing to appoint the governor of the Rastra Bank. A meeting held at the meeting room of Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel on Tuesday recommended the names of Bishwanath Poudel, deputy governor Nilam Dhungana and former home secretary Dinesh Bhattarai.
Revenue Secretary Ghimire sealed the names of three people and reached the Council of Ministers and the Prime Minister’s Office shortly after taking note of the meeting.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers on Tuesday. It is learnt that an agreement has been reached to appoint Bishwanath Poudel as governor.
