Kathmandu. The government has decided to pass the recently issued ordinance through the ‘fast track’. Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung informed that today’s meeting of the Council of Ministers has decided to pass the ordinance through the fast track in the winter session of the Parliament starting from Magh 18.
Minister Gurung, who is also the spokesperson of the government, briefly spoke to the media after the meeting of the Council of Ministers and said, ‘The ordinance issued by the President has been registered with the Parliament Secretariat, and it has been decided to make regulations to implement the ordinance.’
Noting that the government has the constitutional right to bring ordinances based on necessity, Minister Gurung informed that it is clear that the ordinance has been issued to promote good governance and solve economic problems. The meeting has also decided to celebrate ‘Martyr’s Day’ by organizing various programs.
