Kathmandu. Non-life insurance companies have earned a total insurance premium of more than Rs 28 billion by mid-Falgun of the current fiscal year 081/082. According to the details made public by the Nepal Insurance Authority today (Chait 10), the 14 non-life insurance companies in operation have earned a total of Rs 28 billion 28.851 billion.
Shikhar Insurance Company is the first to earn the highest insurance premium by mid-Falgun of the current fiscal year. The company has earned an insurance premium of Rs 4.139 billion during this period. Sagarmatha Lumbini is the second to earn insurance premium. The company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 3.32 billion 4.44 billion.
By mid-February, Siddhartha Premier Insurance has earned Rs 2.75 billion 3.9 billion, while IGI Prudential Insurance has earned Rs 2.37 billion 6.0 billion.
Himalayan Everest Insurance has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 2.21 billion 5 billion during the same period, while Neco Insurance has earned Rs 2.19 billion 4.8 billion.
Similarly, NLG Insurance has earned Rs 1.85 billion 9.1 billion by mid-February. While The Oriental Insurance has earned Rs. 1.70 billion 35 million.
As of mid-February, United Ajod Insurance has earned a total insurance fee of Rs. 1.59 billion 86 million. While Sanima GRAC Insurance has earned Rs. 1.57 billion 10 million, Nepal Insurance has earned Rs. 1.40 billion 24 million.
Prabhu Insurance Company has earned Rs. 1.16 billion 15 million as of mid-February, while National Insurance has earned a total insurance fee of Rs. 764.7 million. The government-owned national insurance company has earned 1 billion 93.8 million rupees.
