Butwal-Narayangadh road blocked due to rain

Nawalparasi. The Butwal-Narayangadh road section along the East-West Highway has been blocked. The road in Daunne has become muddy and slippery due to rain, making it difficult to move vehicles.

The road in Daunne, Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality-2, has been blocked due to rain, said Yadav Dhakal, Superintendent of Police at the Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Sustapur) District Police Office. Hundreds of vehicles and passengers are stranded on the road due to the road blockage.

The Daunne area was closed to traffic from Wednesday to Chaitra 31st for repairs. Similarly, preparations are underway to extend the road from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am from Baisakh 1st to 15th.
