Budgets of all seven local levels of Dadeldhura made public

Dadeldhura. All seven local levels of Dadeldhura have made their budgets public for the fiscal year 2082/83 on Tuesday. The municipalities here have presented their budgets with development, infrastructure, education, health and employment as priorities. The highest budget was presented by Parshuram Municipality, which allocated Rs 804.941 crore.

Presenting the budget at the 17th Municipal Assembly, Deputy Mayor Bimala Kumari Bohara informed that education, health, employment and infrastructure sectors have been prioritized. Amargadhi Municipality has made public a budget of Rs 582.588 million, Alital Rural Municipality Rs 532.720 million, Ajaymeru Rural Municipality Rs 532.238 million, Ganyapadhura Rural Municipality Rs 447.450 million, Bhageshwor Rural Municipality Rs 525.77 million and Navadurga Rural Municipality Rs 467.619 million.

The municipalities have allocated expenditure based on the estimated income from federal, provincial and internal sources. Most municipalities have stated that they will emphasize basic services, infrastructure strengthening, social justice and inclusive development. Some of the budgets presented through village and municipal assembly sessions have been unanimously passed, while discussions are ongoing in some municipalities.
