Kathmandu. Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has said that the issue of budget implementation is not only the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance. Speaking at the National Assembly meeting on Thursday, he said this. He said that the issue of budget implementation is not only the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance but also the common responsibility of all ministries, and the Ministry of Finance will do its part to do its part effectively.
He said that the concerned ministry should also implement the budget in accordance with its responsibilities. He mentioned that the existing standards, guidelines, etc. related to budget implementation are being updated accordingly.
Finance Minister Poudel said, ‘The issue of budget implementation is not only the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance but is the common responsibility of all ministries. The Ministry of Finance should do its part effectively. Similarly, the concerned ministry should also implement the budget by carrying out its responsibilities effectively. This budget focuses on what kind of arrangements we make so that the budget can be implemented smoothly. We are updating the existing standards, guidelines, etc. related to our budget implementation accordingly.’
Finance Minister Poudel said that the commitment to budget implementation has been expressed from the very day after the budget was presented.
