‘BP View Point’ becomes a tourist destination

Baglung. Baglung: Domestic tourists have started flocking to BP View Point at Rakhrekha of Baglung Municipality-1. Domestic tourists come here to escape the heat after the construction of beautiful park and view point after investing Rs 5.1 million in the hilly land.

This destination has become the choice of tourists as it is close to the mid-hill highway. Mahendra Acharya, chairman of BP Park Construction Committee, said that there is a crowd of people who come to enjoy the batika and visit the view point in the evening as baglung is near the market. Most of the tourists say that tourists come to forget the noise of the market.

Santosh Rana, an domestic tourist visiting the park, said that the flowers blooming in the park fascinate the tourists. The park has been planted with saplings, flowers have been planted for decoration and a bed, chautara, temple and toilet have been constructed for living.

From the view point, one can see various places of Kaligandaki River, Nirayghat and Parbat district. “The chaotic valley filled with bushes has now become a tourist destination and there is a crowd of people in the park in the evening in the summer,” Rana said, adding, “I also found tourists who had reached Mustang and Dhorpatan in the park.” ’

Chairman of BP Park Committee Acharya informed that rs 5.17 6 million has been spent so far in the construction of the park’s infrastructure. Baglung Municipality has made view points more systematic in the budget of Rs 500,000 in the current fiscal year. There are five parks in Ramrekha including Shaheed Park, Madan Ashrit Park, BP Park, Manilal View Point and DB Park along with the mid-hill highway.
