Board approves Pure Energy’s IPO

Kathmandu. The Nepal Securities Board has granted permission to Pure Energy Limited to issue an IPO. The board granted permission to the company to issue an IPO today, Falgun 2.

With the permission from the board, the company will now issue 1.6 million shares worth Rs 160 million. The company’s total paid-up capital is Rs 800 million.

In which the founder owns 80 percent of the shares and 20 percent of the shares are going to be issued to the general public. Nabil Investment is the share issuance and sale manager.

Pure Energy is a solar company under the Golyan Group. The company operates two 10-megawatt solar projects in Banke. Both projects have been producing commercially since 2080 BS. With a capacity of 20 megawatts, Pure Energy is the largest solar power producer to date.
