Kathmandu. The new working committee of the Nepal Insurance Association has been elected unopposed. All the working committee members, including Chairman Birendra Baidwar Chhetri, have been elected unopposed.
President Chhetri is working at Siddhartha Premier Insurance Limited. Ashok Kumar Khadka of Neco Insurance has been elected as the vice-chairman and Sunil Ballabh Pant of NLG Insurance has been elected as the general secretary.
Similarly, Yugesh Bhakta Wade Shrestha of IGI Prudential Insurance has been elected as the treasurer. The members elected include Toton Chakraborty of The Oriental Insurance Company, Anju Shrestha of Himalayan Everest Insurance, and Sanchit Bajracharya of Prabhu Insurance.
The Office of the Returning Officer has published the final list of all elected executive committee members. The office has also canceled the election schedule, saying that only one person applied for all the positions.
