Kathmandu. Nepali Congress lawmaker and businessman Binod Chaudhary has said that the budget has tried to address the issues of businessmen.
Commenting on the budget presented by Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel in the Parliament on Thursday for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS, Lawmaker Chaudhary said that some positive efforts related to business have been made in the budget.
He said that the government’s provision of allowing Nepalis who want to invest abroad to take sweat shares through the budget is welcome. He said the budget was also focused on resolving the problem of rising electricity tariff in the hotel business for a long time.
Chaudhary said efforts to create an environment in Nepal for human resources working in the information technology (IT) sector were also positive.
He said, “The budget has made a provision to take white shares in case of your skills, your hard work, and the ability to sell to invest abroad.” Electricity charges in the hotel were high for years. This budget has also addressed that. I have taken it positively from a business point of view. This budget has also created an environment for people working in the FIELD of IT to come and work in Nepal. ’
Chaudhary said that the budget will help in the promotion of tourism from boosting the country’s economy.
