Binod Chaudhary allocates Rs 310 million for urban development in constituency

Nawalparasi. At the initiative of Binod Chaudhary, member of the House of Representatives, more than Rs 310 million has been allocated through the budget under the Ministry of Urban Development in West Nawalparasi-1. The budget has been allocated under various heads under the Ministry of Urban Development for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83 BS.

The budget has been allocated for important projects including infrastructure development, urban beautification and construction of houses for poor families in West Nawalparasi-1. Rs 10.6 million has been allocated for the development of integrated settlements (Susta), road construction, emergency housing buildings and parks.

A budget of Rs 30 million has been allocated for the construction of housing infrastructure for the poor and needy families of Susta, Pratappur and Sarawal rural municipalities. Similarly, Rs 30 million has been allocated for upgrading the road on both sides of Ther khola in Bardaghat Municipality Ward No. 4, Rs 30 million for the construction of a road connecting Potaha to Chaupata Pashu Bazar Triveni via Annapurna Irrigation Boring on the west side, Rs 30 million for the expansion and beautification of the 5-kilometer road from Bardaghat TCN Chowk to Narayan Chowk via Jimirebhar.

Rs 30 million has been allocated for upgrading and blacktopping of the road connecting Suryapura to Bhujahawa (Pratappur Ward No. 7, Sarawal Ward No. 7), and Rs. 30 million for upgrading the road connecting Sarawal Rural Municipality, Bardaghat Municipality Ward No. 1 to Sunwal Ward No. 11 via Sarawal Salwas, Pathrahia, Simaltadi and Nayatol.

Rs 30 million has been allocated for the construction of a bridge on the big road connecting Pratappur to Belatari, and Rs 30 million for the construction of a bridge at Phadki Tol Balinagar Dangen( Pratappur-80). Rs 30 million has been allocated for floodlights, tree plantation and beautification at 100 places along the 13-km stretch in narayanchowk, Gopiganj, Semri, Belatari and Kudiya market areas of Bardaghat for urban development and beautification. Bardaghat, Pratappur and Susta rural municipalities will be included.

Similarly, Rs 30 million has been allocated for the construction of various structures (Bardaghat 100) for baunn khola wetland eco-tourism development and Rs 900,000 has been allocated for preparing dpr after studying the feasibility of bardaghat new city land integration work. Chaudhary, who was elected as a federal lawmaker from West Nawalparasi-1 with the slogan ‘Politics for Development’, has been continuously taking initiatives for the development of his area. He has been working on necessary initiatives and coordination for the development of the three tiers of government.
