Kathmandu. The ‘Bill to amend certain Nepal Acts relating to the promotion of good governance and public service delivery, 2081’, received with a message from the House of Representatives, has been passed by the National Assembly. The assembly’s meeting on Sunday passed the bill by a majority after a principled discussion on the bill.
Earlier in the meeting, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung, on behalf of the Prime Minister, had proposed ‘the Bill to amend certain Nepal Acts relating to the promotion of good governance and public service delivery, 2081, received with a message from the House of Representatives, be considered.’
The said proposal was approved by a majority. MPs who wish to amend the bill can submit the amendments to the Federal Parliament Secretariat within 72 hours. The government has introduced an ordinance replacement bill to amend 12 different acts.
