Bhadrapur. The Land Reforms and Land Revenue Office here has collected Rs 445.737 crore in revenue in the seven months of the current fiscal year.
According to Chief Land Revenue Officer Rajesh Prasad Pokharel, 17,569 registrations have been approved in the seven months.
Similarly, there have been 567 post-death transfers, 587 house maintenance, 989 current and previous updates, 171 registration cancellations, 914 amendments, 11 tenant distributions, nine tenant transfers and 370 tenant registrations have been deleted.
Chief Pokharel said that due to the economic downturn, the number of houses and properties has increased. He said that the lack of significant growth in turnover has had an impact on revenue collection. The office collected Rs 805.814 crore in revenue in the fiscal year 2080/81, and 36,875 registrations were approved.
