Jhapa. The second edition of the Bhadrapur Jhapa Gold Cup is starting today. The opening match will be between the host Bhadrapur Blazers and the visiting team Darjeeling Police of India.
The match will start at 2:30 pm at the Mechi Stadium. Ten teams from Nepal, India, Bhutan and Bangladesh are competing in the Gold Cup. Seven Nepali teams are participating in the competition, including the home team Bhadrapur Blazers, ‘A’ Division Club Church Boys United, Machhindra Football Club, Nepal Police Club, New Road Team, Armed Police Force’s APP FC and Jhapa-11.
Similarly, three foreign teams are participating, namely Darjeeling Police FC of India, Transport United FC of Bhutan and Kaurn Bazar Pragati Sangh of Bangladesh.
