Myagdi: 17 kilometers of the Beni-Darbang road, connecting Mangala, Malika and Dhawalagiri rural municipalities with the district headquarters Beni, have been blacktopped in eight years. The upgrading of this 24-kilometer-long road began eight years ago.
According to the Infrastructure Development Office, 12.5 kilometers from Beni to Mangala Rural Municipality-2 Sim have been blacktopped at a cost of Rs. 450 million and four kilometers of the Sim-Panabagar section have been blacktopped at a cost of Rs. 107 million.
The construction company, which signed a contract for the upgrade of the eight-kilometer road connecting Mangala Rural Municipality-2 Ranwang to Malika Rural Municipality-6 Darwang in 2076 BS at a cost of Rs. 225.7 million, has blacktopped three kilometers and 300 meters from Ranwang to Tolawang.
Darwang to Dhaulagiri A project is underway to upgrade the road connecting the rural municipality center to Muna, including blacktopping, with a contract agreement worth Rs 140 million, and a contract has been called for the implementation of the project with an additional budget of Rs 920 million.
