Barbara Foundation announces Investigative Journalism Fellowship, applications open until mid-March

Kathmandu. The Barbara Foundation has announced the ‘Investigative Journalism Fellowship-2082’ targeting journalists who want to conduct in-depth research and investigative journalism on issues such as corruption, good governance, environmental change, health, education and social justice.

In the current situation where corruption is challenging the governance system in the country and citizens are demanding good governance, the foundation has stated that four fellowships will be provided with the aim of raising an effective voice through journalism. Journalists interested in the fellowship will have to submit proposals by mid-Chait 2081.

The selected journalists will be informed based on the accepted proposals. It has been arranged that the research and investigative materials prepared under the fellowship should be published by mid-Chait 2082. The Foundation has introduced this fellowship with the aim of supporting the development of investigative journalism.

The Foundation’s office will be used as a secretariat for communication.
