Kathmandu. A special Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between The Asian Banker and Kathmandu Fintech with the aim of connecting the banking and fintech industries of Nepal and Bhutan to world-class financial knowledge and networks.
With this agreement, TAB Global has appointed Kathmandu Fintech as its sole authorized representative for Nepal and Bhutan, which will provide Nepali and Bhutanese banking and fintech professionals with access to global platforms such as The Asian Banker, The Banking Academy, TAB Insights, Wealth and Society.
Signing the agreement, Emmanuel Daniel, Chairman of TAB Global, said, “We are very excited about this partnership with Kathmandu Fintech. Nepal’s financial sector is on a journey of digital transformation, and this process will be further strengthened by global knowledge exchange and networking. We are committed to providing world-class opportunities to Nepali and Bhutanese financial institutions.’

As per the agreement, Kathmandu Fintech will be the sole authorized agent of TAB Global for Nepal and Bhutan, helping to represent financial institutions here on the international stage, participate in world-class training and conferences, and promote banking innovation.
