Kathmandu. The government has moved forward with the appointment process for the chairman of the Nepal Insurance Authority. The Ministry of Finance published a public notice on Friday, opening applications for the post of chairman of the authority’s board of directors. The ministry has opened applications for the posts through open competition.
Those who have completed at least a master’s degree and have at least five years of high-level managerial work experience in the relevant field, have not been convicted of a criminal offense, and have high moral character can apply.
Qualified and interested candidates can apply within 15 days through the website of the Ministry of Finance along with the necessary documents.
After the Authority filed a case against Authority Chairman Surya Silwal, Joint Secretary Madan Dahal is taking over the responsibility of the Chairman.
Corporate houses are particularly interested in the Authority Chairman as there is a plan to distribute new licenses .
