Kathmandu: National Independent Party (NISP) MP Hari Dhakal has said that the campaign against corruption will not stop. Speaking during a special session of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, he said that the campaign against corruption will not be stopped by stopping one person.
He said that the day the party gained a majority in Parliament, he would wake up those who had lost their minds by enjoying the intoxication of wealth earned through unearned wealth.
He claimed that just as the wealth of unearned wealth came to the state treasury during the Rana era, the wealth of those who have sucked the sweat of the citizens by creating numerous scandals in the past 35 years will be brought to the state treasury.
He said, “This campaign against corruption that we have launched will not be stopped by stopping one person.” This time the number is not enough. On the day the number is reached, we will wake up those who have lost their lives by earning a lot of money and enjoying the intoxication of wealth. Just as the wealth of the wealthy during the Rana period came to the state treasury. Just as the wealth of the king came to the state treasury, we will bring the wealth of those who have sucked the blood and sweat of the citizens by creating many scandals in these 35 years to the state treasury. We will bring the number to 084. Beware.’
He also accused the current government of protecting the corrupt.
