Kathmandu. According to the constitutional provision, the provincial government has brought the budget keeping in mind the deadline to bring the budget on July 15. The Koshi state government has increased the budget compared to the previous fiscal year.
Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Ram Bahadur Magar on Sunday presented a budget of Rs 35.87 billion for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS. The budget has allocated Rs 18.67 billion for current and Rs 17.10 billion for capital expenditure. Rs 100 million has been allocated for financial management. The government had prepared a budget of Rs 35.27 billion for the current fiscal year.
The Madhes province government has presented a budget of Rs 46.58 billion for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83 BS. Finance Minister Sunil Kumar Yadav has allocated Rs 16.72 billion for the current fiscal year and Rs 30.26 billion for capital expenditure.
The Bagmati province government has presented a budget of Rs 67.47 billion for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83 BS. The provincial government has allocated Rs 26.44 billion (38.6 per cent) for the current fiscal year and Rs 41.43 billion (61.4 per cent) for the capital expenditure.
The state government is estimated to spend Rs 28.78 billion from tax revenue and Rs 6.79 billion from the other rs 6.79 billion. The financial transfer received from the federal government is estimated to cost Rs 41.81 billion, while the accumulated angle miscellaneous receipts will cost Rs 16.98 billion.
