‘All ministers, honorable members and leaders from the government from the Far West met the Prime Minister and held important discussions on issues related to the development of the province, such as operating the Shaheed Dashrath Chand Health Sciences University in Geta, advancing the Mahakali Corridor, Khutia Dipayal Fast Track, and the construction of the provincial capital,’ he said. .

Bhandari said that important discussions were held with the Prime Minister on completing incomplete works and starting new ones. He said that the issue of operating the Shaheed Dashrath Chand Health Sciences University by connecting Seti Provincial Hospital and managing human resources has been moving forward. Minister Bhandari said that the work of building the provincial capital will also move forward soon.

He said that the ordinances brought by the government will be passed with consensus. ‘The session of Parliament is ongoing. We have presented many bills and they have been passed. The ordinance brought by the government is also entering the parliament,’ Bhandari said, ‘I would like to inform you that preparations are underway to pass the ordinance with consensus.’ Stating that the ordinance covers important issues such as ensuring effective work performance and good governance for the government, Bhandari mentioned that the current complications will end.

‘There are many complications and problems in obtaining results from the work that the government is currently carrying out. It takes a certain course to obtain results. Therefore, six months of results are not enough,’ Bhandari said, ‘The government is gaining momentum. The ordinance has put forward many issues that will make work performance effective and ensure good governance. The private sector has also welcomed it.’

He also said that there is no need to form an opinion about thematic ministries based on the results of the government’s semi-annual review.

An integrated ministry of training should be established

Industry Minister Bhandari, who inaugurated the job fair in Dhangadhi on Thursday, said that it is not possible to create employment and self-employment in the country by conducting training at a single local level. He expressed the view that the federal government needs to set up a separate ministry to provide skill-based training in an integrated manner.

‘The current era is the era of producing skilled manpower. It is not enough for a local level to provide training alone,’ Bhandari said, ‘Now the federal government should set up a ministry to provide such training in an integrated manner, and my ministry will take the initiative in this.’

He also said that there is no point in opposing the ordinances brought by the government to change the rules that are seen as obstacles to the country’s prosperity.

‘There are old acts for development and construction. Because of those acts, the bodies that want to work have not been able to work on time. “The budget is not implemented on time because work has not been done, and the people have not been able to experience development,” he said. “Ordinances have been brought to do work quickly, control corruption and maintain good governance. We have not brought an ordinance to split any party, but why oppose the efforts made for prosperity?”

Around 1,100 youth will undergo one-month training in 29 different fields at the skill and employment fair to be organized in Dhangadhi. The Sub-metropolitan City has stated that after the training, their skills will be tested and employment will be guaranteed in the presence of the employer.

1,040 people from 39 local levels in all 9 districts of the province will be provided training in various fields at the fair to be held with the technical support of the Nepal Training and Employment Entrepreneurs Federation Sudurpaschim.
