Bhaktapur. On the occasion of Mahashivaratri festival, arrangements have been made to open all four doors of the Kedarnath Shir Doleshwar Mahadev Temple for devotees to worship and offer prayers today.
Harisharan Basnet, General Secretary of the Kedarnath Shir Doleshwar Mahadev Temple Conservation and Development Committee located in Sipadol, Suryabinayak Municipality-8, informed that arrangements have been made to open all four doors of the temple from 4 am today and enter the temple and worship the stone of Mahadev.
According to him, devotees have been queuing up since 4 am.
Says that arrangements have been made to provide five baths for devotees on the day of Mahashivaratri, he said that for ease, volunteers will be deployed, He informed that arrangements have been made for security personnel, a health camp has been organized, and prasad has been provided to all the devotees who come to the fair.
The committee’s general secretary Basnet said that arrangements have been made to divide the saints and fathers who come to Doleshwor for the Shivaratri festival into ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ categories and give them dakshina and dhoti to bid farewell.
Since arrangements have been made to enter the temple and worship and visit the sanctum sanctorum, he said that arrangements have been made accordingly, with an estimate of one lakh devotees to visit today.
Supparaj Basnet, ward chairman of Suryabinayak-8 Sipadol, informed that the management of the worship has been made effective in the half hour of waiting in line. .
According to him, about three hundred saints and fathers have come for Shivaratri this year.
Ward President Basnet said that arrangements have been made in Doleshwor for them to eat, stay, and provide prasad to the devotees who come on the day of Mahashivaratri, to have darshan within half an hour of standing in line for worship, and to conduct a health camp in front of the temple.
Similarly, on the occasion of Mahashivaratri festival, there is a rush of devotees from the famous Ashapuri to the tall Kailashnath Mahadev in Sanga today.
Manle The Ashapuri Mahadev temple, where people believe that their wishes will come true, has been in a rush since morning.
Similarly, Gupteshwor Mahadev, Somalingeshwor Mahadev, Charkhandishwar Mahadev in Suryabinayak-1 Sirutar, Anantalingeshwor Mahadev in Ward No. 5, Suvarnaeshwor Mahadev, Kailashnath Mahadev, known as Aglo Mahadev in Ward No. 10 Chittapol Sanga, Latrambeshwor Mahadev in Chittapol, Dattatray Temple in Bhaktapur, Yatu Mahadev Temple have also been in a rush since morning.
It is said that arrangements have been made for easy darshan for the devotees at all those places.
