Airattix launches Smart Storage Marketplace in Nepal

Kathmandu. Airattix, India’s leading smart storage marketplace, officially launched its operations in Nepal amid a grand event held at the premises of Hotel Ambassador, Lazimpat.

Now Nepalis can enjoy new-age solutions for temporary storage, relocation, and last-mile logistics-connecting users with underutilized spaces through a seamless digital platform. Inclusively designed for businesses, individuals, and travelers; Airattix aims to solve Nepal’s growing need for flexible storage and space management, offering luggage storage, goods storage, order fulfillment, and relocation services.

The launch was led by Mr. Aditya Kale, founder and CEO of Airattix. A Marine Engineer and a dynamic leader with decades of experience in the logistics and supply chain. mr. Kale previously scaled a successful B2B warehousing business in India before establishing Airattix as a B2C marketplace. Speaking at the event Mr. Kale expressed his vision for Airattix and its role in revolutionizing Nepal’s urban trend.

Speaking at the event Mr. Kale expressed his determination in solving storage problems. He said, “Storage is one of the major problems in the Indian subcontinent region and that’s what inspired us to start Airattx. We have been providing services to customers for the past three months and acquired more than 500 customers. Currently we are limited to Kathmandu only but we are planning to expand our services to major cities like Pokhara and Birgunj.” He added, “I am sure that Nepalis are also facing storage problems and we are more than happy to have our presence here.”

He emphasized Airattix’s commitment to using technology as a bridge between storage seekers and providers, enabling economic opportunities for homeowners and efficient solutions for consumers.

The event witnessed the presence of several prominent figures from Nepali business realm. The event featured a dynamic panel discussion titled ‘From Idea to Execution- What Makes a Startup Stand Out?’-bringing together leading voices from Nepal’s logistics and startup sectors.

The panel was moderated by Mr. Pratik Aryal, founder of 88 Collective Pvt. featured some of the renowned faces of Nepali logistics sector including Mr. Suman Rayamajhi founder & Managing Director at Upaya City Cargo, Mr. Santosh Bista chief logistics officer at Daraz Nepal, Mr. Samay Giri co-founder & managing director at Mero Storage, and Mr. Aditya Kale founder & CEO of Airattix.

When the moderator asked how Upaya has grown over a time to say that it solves logistic problems? Rayamajhi stated that when Upaya started its services people were not aware about logistic services and gradually the company started getting various requests such as truck cargo, extra security of goods. “It was definitely a long journey but now things have changed and people are more aware about the logistics and warehouse services,” he said.

After the panel discussion, Mr. Sajan Sharma, Co-founder of Mero Storage and Founder & CEO of Citytech, along with Mr. Hem Gurung, Director of City Express, facilitated the panelists.
