Air India plane crashes in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad

Agency. An Air India flight carrying more than 200 passengers crashed shortly after taking off from an airport in the western Indian state of Gujarat on Thursday. According to reports, the plane was on its way to the UK.

Footage from local media showed thick black smoke billowing into the sky near the airport.
