Kathmandu. Air services have been affected due to adverse weather. According to the Tribhuvan International Airport office located here, several flights have been affected due to poor visibility.
According to the office’s spokesperson Rinji Sherpa, Qatar Airways flight QR652 from Doha to Kathmandu has been diverted to Kolkata.
In addition, Nepal Airlines and Air China flights from Malaysia have also been diverted. Sichuan Airlines flights have been canceled due to the weather.
Domestic flights have also been affected due to the weather. According to the office, some flights including Kathmandu-Pokhara, Kathmandu-Bharatpur, Kathmandu-Nepalgunj, Kathmandu-Rajbiraj, Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Kathmandu-Janakpur, Kathmandu-Bhadrapur, Kathmandu-Bhairahawa have been canceled. In addition, most of the flights have been delayed.
According to Spokesperson Sherpa, flights have been operating normally since the afternoon.
