Agni Cement’s business declines by 40.44 per cent, turnover of only Rs 400 million in a year

Kathmandu. Agni Cement Industries Limited has made a business of more than Rs 400 million in one year. The company had a turnover of Rs 402 million in 2024. Which is the lowest in the last three years.

According to the data released by rating agency CARE Rating Nepal Limited, the company’s business declined by 40.44 percent in 2024 compared to the previous year 2023.

Similarly, the company had a turnover of Rs 675 million in 2023 and Rs 1.21 billion in 2022.

The company has been rated for bank loans of Rs 916.8 million. Of these, ‘Care NP B minus’ for loans of Rs 526.8 million from Long Tram and ‘Care NP A4’ rating for Short Tram loans of Rs 390 million have been reaffirmed.

The company was established in 2007. The company is involved in the production of cement such as Portland Pozzolana Cement and Ordinary Portland Cement, which have an installed capacity of 900 metric tons per day.
