After laying the foundation stone of a road and drain in Lamaria, Minister Gupta said, ‘Do a good job, I will bring more budget’

Parsa. Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Raj Kumar Gupta has laid the foundation stone of a road and a drain in Pokhariya Municipality-2, Lamariya, Parsa. He laid the foundation stone of a 132-meter road and a 107-meter drain through a special program on Sunday.

The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development is going to construct a road and a drain in Ward No. 2 of Pokhariya Municipality from the budget. On the occasion, Minister Gupta informed that the government has implemented various programs for the all-round development of the indigenous, tribal, Madhesi and marginalized communities of Terai Madhesh.

The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development had allocated the budget for the construction of the road and drain on the initiative of Minister Gupta. He expressed his commitment to provide additional budget in the next fiscal year if the road and drain construction is completed honestly.

‘If you work honestly, I will provide additional budget next year, but if things go wrong, don’t expect it again,’ Minister Gupta said. Addressing the public’s complaints that no government has ever looked after the Terai Madhesh, he clarified that this time the government is paying more attention to the Terai Madhesh.

He said, ‘The complaint of the people of the Terai Madhesh has always been that the government has not looked after us. However, for the first time, the government has made an effort to address the problems of the people of Tarai Madhesh, and this will continue. Stating that he has a plan to launch a wave of comprehensive development in the Tarai Madhesh region, he discussed that this is possible with the support of the people.

Minister Gupta, who is also a central member of the CPN-UML, emphasized that if all citizens understand their responsibilities and work, prosperity will not take long, stressing that everyone should understand their responsibilities. He also informed that the Ministry of General Administration is doing its homework to send employees to all local levels.

He said that the ministry is working day and night to make the work of the people easier and that the staff arrangement will be made soon.
