Golbajar. Movement has resumed after the opening of the unpaved track connecting Siraha-Udpurpar. With the opening of the road track by breaking through the mountain, it has become easier between the locals of the two districts. After the Dhangadhimai-14 Ward Office constructed a road connecting Gagan Basti of Dhangadhimai Municipality-14 in Siraha and Salhesh Danda of Katari Municipality-5 in Udayapur, the remote settlements of both districts have been made accessible.
## Dhangadhimai-14 in Siraha, which used to be an accessible district, was a remote area due to the lack of roads. The locals here, who have been facing a shortage of roads, drinking water, and electricity, are still facing a shortage of drinking water even though basic facilities have gradually started to be provided with the reorganization of the local level.
The Dhangadhimai-14 Ward Office had constructed a seven-meter-wide unpaved road with a budget of Rs 3 million in the fiscal years 2080/81 and 2081/82. The locals of Amle, Gagan Siran, a settlement at the foot of Salhes, which is a remote area of the same ward, and the locals of Udayapur-5 Salhes Danda have found it easier to reach the Madanbhandari Highway as Ward No. 10 of the East-West Highway is close to Zero Mile Bazaar.
Three kilometers north of Gagan Basti in Dhangadhimai is the Madan Bhandari Highway in Udayapur. The road passes through Ward No. 10, Zero Mile Hathidhunga, Amledhowan, Karudhoka and Gagankhola, west of Bhitepani in Sarekhola, and connects to the Madan Bhandari Marg.

##Katari-5’s Bishwas Tamang had to use the roundabout road to Marchaiya in Siraha or Kadamha Bazaar in Saptari to reach the East-West Highway, but now that obligation has been removed. Dhangadhimai-14’s Ward Chairman Amit Thakuri said that the construction of this road has made it easier for the residents of the ward.
##
## He informed that it is equally important for reducing the distance between the two districts and for trade purposes. It is said that 10 culverts and two bridges are urgently needed for the road to operate during the winter monsoon.
## Janak Mote Pariyar of Dhangadhimai-14 said that the construction of the road has made it easier to move around the village. Ganga Prasad Yadav, engineer of Dhangadhimai Municipality, said that the construction of the road has added convenience to the settlements that are far from the mainstream of development.
