6 dialysis machines handed over to Chaupata Hospital in Bardaghat

Kathmandu. Six hemodialysis machines have been handed over to the Shahid Smriti Community Hospital (Chaupata Hospital) located in Bardaghat-14, West Nawalparasi. Today, in a program in Dhulikhel, Kavre, in the presence of House of Representatives member Binod Chaudhary, the machine was handed over to Bardaghat Municipality Mayor Shambhulal Shrestha.

The machine was provided by Dr. Jobst Isbury on behalf of the German Rotary Volunteer Doctor in coordination with the Rotary Club of Dhulikhel.

MP Chaudhary said that patients in West Nawalparasi and nearby areas will be able to benefit from the availability of the dialysis machine. He said, “Today, in collaboration with the German Rotary Volunteer Doctors and the Rotary Club of Dhulikhel, 6 hemodialysis machines have been handed over to Chaupata Hospital, Bardaghat. This will make a significant contribution to the treatment of kidney patients in West Nawalparasi.”

Dhulikhel Municipality Mayor Ashok Bynju expressed his belief that the availability of important health supplies in the community hospital of the mofussil will benefit the citizens.

Earlier, the Rotary Club of Dhulikhel had provided wheelchairs to West Nawalparasi and also supported the operation of an eye clinic at the Reyukai Bhawan in Bardaghat. The dialysis machine handover program was attended by Municipal Mayor Shambhulal Shrestha, Chaupata Hospital Chairman D.B. Rana and other officials were also present.

MP Chaudhary had been requesting Health and Population Minister Pradeep Poudel to arrange dialysis machines and the necessary manpower for the hospital. Minister Poudel had coordinated for this. Health Minister Poudel has also said that he will help prepare the necessary manpower to operate the hemodialysis machines.

West Nawalparasi is becoming a health hub:

MP Chaudhary has been developing his constituency as a health service hub. On his initiative, the construction of the trauma center, which was in a state of disarray, has progressed. The first trauma center outside Kathmandu is being built in Bardaghat. Similarly, Chisapani Hospital is being operated with specialist services. The hospital has been upgraded and expanded with the help of the Chaudhary Foundation.

The construction of a 15-bed hospital in Sarawal has also progressed. With the continuous initiative of MP Chaudhary, the government has ensured resources for the hospital. On the initiative of MP Chaudhary, the CG Sabal Center has been opened to provide free artificial limbs, and a birthing center is operating in Susta.
