52 constitutional office-bearers’ verdict today, CIAA chief Prem Rai at the centre

Kathmandu. The Supreme Court is set to pronounce its verdict today in the case related to the appointment of 52 constitutional office-bearers.

Earlier, it was said that the verdict of the case, which has been repeatedly postponed, will be announced on June 15. The new date for pronouncing the verdict was scheduled for June 15 as there was no preparation to announce the verdict on that day.

Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut, Justices Sapana Pradhan Malla, Manoj Kumar Sharma and Dr Dipu Moni were present on the occasion. Kumar Chudal and Dr. It was held in the bench of Nahakul Subedi.

The then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had appointed 52 office-bearers in various constitutional bodies without holding parliamentary hearings when the House of Representatives was dissolved.

A total of 15 writ petitions were filed in the Supreme Court seeking quashing of the petition. The regular hearing had been going on since January last year.

Chief Commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority Prem Kumar Rai has been kept at the centre of the verdict.
