Rasuwa. Chinese vehicles account for 40 percent of the total revenue from customs duty. According to the Customs Office, about 40 per cent of the revenue collection from July to July 15 of the fiscal year 2081/82 bs has been received from vehicle tax alone.

Despite paying the customs duty, some importers have kept the vehicles in queues inside the hands of the customs office as they have not yet taken the vehicles.
The Customs Office has requested the concerned businessmen to take the vehicles imported from neighboring china on time by making huge investment. According to locals, the settlements around Rasuwagadhi border point are at risk due to possible floods and landslides.
