Kathmandu. Nepalis deported from the US have arrived in Kathmandu. They reached Nepal via Tribhuvan International Airport on Sunday night.
A total of 37 Nepalis deported by the US for violating immigration laws were brought to Kathmandu last night. They were brought to Kathmandu by a chartered flight by the US. There are 37 Nepalis, including 32 men and five women, who were recently deported to the US. The U.S. government has cracked down on immigrants since President Donald Trump took office last time.
Those who have not completed the visa process, stayed for more than the visa period, and did not have good conduct, the US detained them and sent them back to their home countries.
