10 months of the current fiscal year: Imports worth Rs 1.5 trillion and exports worth Rs 200 billion

Kathmandu. In the 10 months of the current fiscal year, imports amounted to Rs 1,474.18 billion. Imports increased by 13.18 percent compared to the previous fiscal year 2080/81.

In the same period of the previous fiscal year, imports amounted to Rs 1,303.35 billion. Similarly, exports have also increased in the last 10 months. In the current fiscal year, exports amounted to Rs 217.91 billion.

This is an increase of 72.71 percent compared to the same period last fiscal year. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, exports stood at Rs 126.17 billion.

During the review period, the trade deficit stood at Rs 1,256.27 billion. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, such a loss was Rs 1,177.18 billion. This deficit has increased by 6.72 percent in the current fiscal year as compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year.

Total foreign trade increased by 18.37 percent to Rs 1,692 billion 93 lakh 57 thousand in the month of April. In the 10 months of the current fiscal year, the government has collected revenue of Rs 386.62 billion.

In the last 10 months, nepal has imported the highest number of items like petrol, diesel, gas, EV and soyabean oil.
