Kathmandu. Covid-19 infection is on the rise in Nepal. Recently, covid-19 infection has started appearing in different districts of Nepal.
According to the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD), covid-19 infection has been confirmed in 31 districts of Nepal from January 1, 2081 to July 20, 2019. So far, 249 people have been infected with covid-19. Corona infection has been detected in 35 people in a week. Kathmandu : In the last 24 hours, corona infection has been confirmed in three people. One person has also died of Covid-19.
Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr Prakash Budhathoki, said the ministry has made covid-19 surveillance more effective at health desks located at 17 border points across the country in view of the risk of COVID-19 infection. “Covid-19 rdt tests are being conducted at the health desks of all border points. ’
To protect against COVID-19 and various other respiratory diseases, it has been requested to adopt measures such as wearing masks, washing hands with soap and water or using sanitizer, paying attention to personal hygiene. He urged people from COVID-19 affected areas to stay in self-quarantine/isolation if they have symptoms similar to COVID-19.
