“There is a conducive environment for Malaysian investors to invest in Nepal.

Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has urged Malaysian investors to invest more in Nepal’s physical infrastructure and tourism sector. Finance Minister Poudel urged the investors participating in the malaysian-Nepal business council delegation visiting Nepal to invest more in nepal’s infrastructure development and tourism.

“There is a conducive environment for investment from the private sector in Nepal. Policies are investment-friendly. Identify areas of investment and move forward with better preparation. The government is ready to help and facilitate,” poudel said.

The participants expressed their interest to invest in information technology, trade, hydro, infrastructure, environment and tourism sectors. Pradeep Kumar Kukreja, Chairman of Malaysia-Nepal Business Council, was also part of the delegation. Chai Ki Khan, Ganesh Kumar Vangah, MK Sangrah and others were present.
