Kathmandu. CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the parliamentary system is a system of selling dog meat by hanging the head of a goat. Chairman Dahal said this while addressing a book launch program titled ‘Outline of Socialist Philosophy’ in Kathmandu on Thursday.
He said that during the democratic revolution, while propagating Marxism, it was widely propagated that the parliamentary system is a system of hanging the head of a goat and selling dog meat. He claimed that the conspiracy over the committee’s report is the same.

Claiming that he had pushed towards socialism every time he was in the government, Chairman Dahal claimed that the main task of capitalist democratic revolution in Nepal had been completed. Stating that the Nepali society has now reached the stage of socialist revolution, he said the communists should start laying the foundation of socialism.
