Kathmandu. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Nepal School Sports Federation and Private and Boarding Schools Association Nepal. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between The Federation and PABSON amidst a programme in Kathmandu on Thursday.
FNCCI President Binod Shrestha, PABSON President Krishna Prasad Adhikari and International School Sports Federation representative Raj Kumar Karki signed the agreement. Along with the MoU, a joint working structure has been set up for the development, promotion and coordination of sports programs in private and residential schools.
PABSON President Krishna Prasad Adhikari said that the importance of sports is important for physical health, collective spirit, discipline and overall personality development among the students. Under the agreement, cooperation will be made in infrastructure development, organizing competitions, talent identification and promotion of physical education.
He said that nssf pabson cup, isf pabson cup, isf pabson cup, isf pabson cup, isf pabson combat games, isf pabson games and school primer league will be jointly organized at the district, state and national level.
The aim is to help improve sports equipment and infrastructure in private and residential schools, identify young players and provide them with the necessary opportunities to develop them through special training and competition. The relevant parties will cooperate in mobilizing the necessary financial and physical resources for sports events.
According to him, resources will be raised in collaboration with government agencies, private sector and international bodies. He also informed that joint monitoring and evaluation system would be implemented regularly to ensure the effectiveness of the programmes. Necessary reforms and strategies will be reviewed from time to time, he added.
The agreement will start from today and will be valid for three years. The term can be renewed with the mutual consent of the parties and either party must give a written notice at least 30 days in advance if they wish to terminate the agreement.
